These works are related to one another in that they all present jumbled groups of objects. While "Zachary's Animal" and "Up End" riff off the decadent Dutch still life paintings of the 1600s, "What We Carried" alludes to a more ancient past as shards of pottery and bone conjure up an archaeological dig.
